RUBBER TREE PLANTING PROJECT

1. Location of the project

Located in the northern districts of Quang Binh province, including Bo Trach, Quang Trach and Minh Hoa.

2. Objectives of the project

- To carry out the plant restructure shifting, agricultural development of high value goods. Exploit the potential to enhance the value of land use, create jobs, raise incomes for agricultural laborers, contributing to socio-economic development of the province.

- To promote the development of commodity economy, increase export turnovers of agricultural products.

- To contribute to successfully implement the rubber tree development plan of the Government until 2020.

3. Scale of investment

Total estimated land area: 1,500 hectares

4. Total estimated investment capital

VND 65 billion

5. Effectiveness of the project

- Have the ability to bring high profits for investors.

- Create jobs, raise income and budget revenues for the province.

- Exploit the land potential and low-value forest land to switch to higher value rubber planting.

- Contribute to the forest coverage, ecological climate control, climate change prevention; create a protective belt for a sustainable agricultural production.
