The Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province and the Department of Posts and Telecommunications of Khammouane province signed a Memmorandum of Understanding.

At the talk, the two sides briefly informed each other about their outstanding achievements in information and communications in recent years and exchanged experience in management of telecommunications at localities.

On behalf of the Lao delegation, Director of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications of Khammouane province Tayaporn Sinhthon expressed his hope to learn experience in management and operation of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh province.

Under the MoU, the two sides agreed to closely work in propagandizing and disseminating on traditional solidarity between two Parties, States and people, particularly relations between two information and communications sectors.

The two sides also agreed to conduct regular exchanges of information and experience in management and professional work; facilitate to establish a working unit in charge of effectively implementing the MoU.

The Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh Province presented a gift as a souvenir to the Department of Posts and Telecommunications of Khammouane province

On this occasion, the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Binh Province and the Department of Posts and Telecommunications of Khammouane province paid a homage to General Vo Nguyen Giap's tomb and visited world natural heritage, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
