Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Committee presented to laureates in the university entrance exams of 2011

This year, Quang Binh province had five students who had got the highest marks at the university entrance exams. Concretely, Pham Thai Son from the Quang Trach high school No.2 came top at the entrance exam to the Hue Medical University with the country’s highest scores; Tran Xuan Hoa from the Quang Binh high school for the Gifted topped at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics; Le Van Lam from the Quang Binh high school for the Gifted came first at the Da Nang University of Technology and cam second at the Hue Medical University; Bui Nguyen Dan Chi from the Quang Binh high school for the Gifted came first at the Vietnam Aviation Academy and Hoang Thi Mai from the Nguyen Chi Thanh high school (Le Thuy district) came top at the entrance exam to the Quang Binh University.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairperson Nguyen Huu Hoai praised achievements in studying of the laureates and asked them to try their best to gain more achievements in studying, promote the learning tradition of the motherland of Quang Binh. Chairperson also asked provincial-level agencies, organizations and unions to pay more attention to investing and developing education in the province.

On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee presented gifts to the laureates, worth VND2 million each, Pham Thai Son alone was presented VND3 million. The Thang Loi Cement Limited Company granted VND5 million to each laureate.
