FACTORY OF FIBRE PROCESSING, DYEING, TEXTILE AND GARMENT FOR EXPORT

1. Location of the project

Dong Hoi Northwest Industrial Park is situated in Bac Ly Ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province.

- Bordering Ha Quang export garment factory to the Northeast

- Bordering a 24-m wide road to the Southeast.

- Bordering Su Ly gas factory to the Southwest.

- Bordering a 24-m wide road to the Northwest.

2. Objectives of the project

- The project is developed to build the textiles and fibre processing plant, meeting domestic demands and exports.

- Production of fibres from wood materials in the province.

3. Scale of the project

Total area for the factory: 4 hectares

Production capacity: 2 million products/year.

4. Total estimated investment capital

US$ 350 million

5. Type of investment

Domestic investment, foreign investment, joint venture  (with North Quang Binh Forestry and Industry Limited company and Long Dai Forestry and Industry Limited Company) 

6. Expected effectiveness of the project

- Have the ability to bring high profits.

- Take advantage of existing plantations in the province, create more jobs and contribute to improving living standards for local people, and contribute to the province's tax sources.

7. Natural conditions and current situations

The total forest area of materials for the project is 185,686 hectares, of which: 
- Long Dai Forestry and Industrial Company, Ltd (located in the forest areas of Bo Trach, Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts and Dong Hoi city):

+ 6,000 ha can be immediately converted into eucalyptus plantations;

+ 8,500 ha of acacia plantation can be converted into  eucalyptus plantations if eucalyptus plantations bring higher productivity and economic efficiency.

- North Quang Binh Forestry and Industry Company, Ltd (located in forest areas of Bo Trach, Quang Trach and Minh Hoa districts)  

- 5,000 ha can be immediately converted into eucalyptus plantations;

- Land areas under the management of districts and city: 172.185,96 ha, including:

+ Bo Trach district: 22.283,2 ha

+ Dong Hoi city: 257 ha

+ Le Thuy district: 40.546,7 ha

+ Minh Hoa district: 33.698,6 ha

+ Quang Ninh district: 25.162,36 ha

+ Quang Trach district: 8.150,1 ha

+ Tuyen Hoa district: 42.088 ha.
