At the meeting, Mr Vu Son Thuy, head of Department of Consular under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr Bui Cong Tho, consulate of representative office of German State of Hessen in Vietnam briefly introduced some information on natural conditions, socio-economic situation and cultural characters of the Federal Republic of Germany in general and of the State of Hessen in particular; cooperative relationship between Germany and Vietnam; stressed orientations and prospects for cooperation between two sides in the future, of which focusing on education, tourism and industry (automobile and windy power) and instructed steps of dossier preparation for cooperative projects with the Federal Republic of Germany.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly evaluated the assistance of the representative office of the German State of Hessen in Vietnam for Quang Binh province. He also assigned specific tasks to relevant departments and branches to establish cooperative relationship with German enterprises and the State of Hessen.
