HAI NINH GOLF COURSE PROJECT, HAI NINH COMMUNE, QUANG NINH DISTRICT, QUANG BINH PROVINCE

1. Location for the project

- Hai Ninh is a coastal commune of Quang Ninh district to the east, borders the East Sea, 10km from the district center and 18km from Dong Hoi city to the south.

-  Planning location borders:

+ The East Sea on the east,

+ Local roads on the south

+ Vo Ninh, Gia Ninh and Hong Thuy communes on the west

+ Bao Ninh commune on the north.

2. Purposes of the project

- To build a national standard golf course to meet tourist’s relax demand;

- To attract domestic and international tourists with a golf integrated with entertainment area;

- To take advantage of potential real-estate for stimulating local development of economy, tourism, sport and services;

- To create jobs and increase the State budget revenues, ensure the effective and sustainable development.

3. Scale of the project

Total area:  about 110 ha with 18 holes golf course master plan

4. Total estimated investment capital

VND 600 billion

5. Expected effectiveness of the project

- The golf course has a high potential for making high profits.

- The project will get widespread and applicable in the future.

6. Natural characteristic and current status of  the project

Topography:  The planned golf course in Hai Ninh commune is a coastal area with relatively flat terrain and sand hills stretching out to the sea. The coastline is 7km long and 5-15m high.

Technical infrastructure:

+ Vertical axis: National Route 1A and coastal road crossing the project area;

+ Horizontal axis: 5km long inter-communal rural road from Dinh Muoi to Hai Ninh was upgraded;

+ Electricity, telephone line and communication system have been fully invested;

+ Irrigation and school system have been invested to facilitate the economic and community development.

Present condition: The project is situated within coastal area of Quang Ninh district, along the National Route 1A.  To the east, the coast line here features with kilometer-long sand dunes which are relatively high (often 20-30m) in comparison with other places. The population here is quite sparse which is convenient for the site clearance.
