North Bao Ninh new urban area project, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province

NORTH BAO NINH NEW URBAN AREA PROJECT, DONG HOI CITY, QUANG BINH PROVINCE

1. Location for the project

The project is located in the center of the province, about 500km from Hanoi Capital and about 1.200km from Ho Chi Minh City.

Geographical location:

- The East: borders a 60m wide road

- The South: borders a planned 36m wide road leading to Nhat Le II Bridge

- The West: it borders a planned 36m wide road

- The North: borders a planned 19m wide road

2. Purposes of the project

- Building a modern urban area.

- Providing more accommodations, working offices and other infrastructures for Dong Hoi City.

- Increasing the income source for provincial budget.

3. Scale and contents of the project

The new urban area is proposed to cover a total area of 55.13 hectares, including the following investment items:

- Transportation, electricity system, water supply and drainage system

- Trade center

- Social welfare facilities such as schools, healthcare clinics

- Residential area and villas, etc.

4. Total estimated investment capital

As estimated, total investment capital is 600 - 1,000 billion dong, of which technical infrastructures covers 12 billion dong per hectare, equivalently 661.56 billion dong.

5. Expected effectiveness of the project

-  Have the potentials to bring high profits to investors.

- Develop the urban infrastructure system in Bao Ninh region, thereby contributing to socio-economic development of the region and Dong Hoi City.

6. Major natural conditions and current status of the project area

Topography:

The proposed project area is located along the coast of Bao Ninh and Hai Ninh communes, about 500-800m wide and 5-6km long along the coast. The area is relatively flat interspersed with low sand dunes along the coast.

Technical infrastructures:

Vo Nguyen Giap street (60m wide) and 22KV power line crossing the project area, water supply and drainage system: guaranteed.
